ひとりで山を開墾し、ひとりでオリーブの小さな苗を植えた。

今も、雑草や年間の木の管理はひとりで。

今では、国内外から手伝いに来る人々は年々増え、1 年間に延べ 500人以上が来てくれる。

そんな幸せなオリーブ畑…、それが『高尾農園のオリーブ畑』。

オリーブの実、それぞれの品種にも、きちんと『旬』があり、

それを見逃さないように緊張の日々が続く、摘みとりの季節は年に一度だけ。

その品種で一番美味しいところを引き出してあげるのが、

オリーブに携わるものの使命だと考える。

オリーブづくりは畑仕事から始まる…。ただひたすら向き合い、オリーブに問い教えてもらう。

I cultivated copse and planted olive seedlings by myself.
And even now I work on a field alone.
Recently the people who help Takao Nouen from and abroad are increasing year by year.
And more than 500 people come and help me in harvest season.
I think Takao Nouen Olive Hatake is blessed.

There is season in each olive variety.
And I think the strain not to miss their best during the harvest season.
Picking opportunities are only once a year.
So I believe it is the mission for people who are concerned with olives to draw out the best taste of its olive variety.

To produce olive oil starts with cultivating the soil.
I face and ask olives.
For the best olive cultivation.
